Summer, sun - the temperature is rising, and now instead of a warm breakfast in the morning we would rather have something refreshing. But if you still don't want to miss out on the wonderfully wholesome oat flakes, then try overnight oats . You can enjoy them cold and with fresh summer fruits as a topping! Fresh from the bear cave and to match our new overnight oats jar, we have put together our favorite overnight oats recipes for you. The perfect meal prep to start your day! Each recipe takes less than 5 minutes to prepare (most take just 3 minutes). Perfect for warm summer days, quick to prepare, keeps you full for a long time, and is full of iron, fiber and complex carbohydrates.

We have put together at least one recipe for each of our porridge types. All variants were extensively tested and of course tried by the 3Bears team! With each recipe you will receive a suggestion for a 3Bears porridge variety, as well as fresh toppings. In addition, all recipes are perfect for vegans, as you can also use vegan milk alternatives. This means your overnight oats will always be just right! The preparation steps are always the same, as you can read about in the basic recipe here...

Basic recipe

  1. Mix the 3Bears Porridge with the liquid of your choice (milk or a vegan version such as almond, coconut or rice milk) in a mason jar or our 3Bears Overnight Oats jar . This mixture is then covered and placed in the refrigerator (max. 7 degrees) overnight (at least 6 hours).
  2. In our overnight oats glass, the guide lines show you the amounts of oat flakes and liquid. But if you use a simple glass, then our default is 50g porridge and 100ml milk.
  3. The next morning, garnish the porridge with all the fresh toppings (you can find suggestions in the recipes). Put the lid on and go to work or have a picnic in the countryside!
