Hearty Vegan Spinach Porridge

Herzhaftes Veganes Spinat-Porridge

We don't like to repeat ourselves, but for anyone who hasn't noticed yet, Porridge also tastes pretty nice when savoury. Instead of a plant drink, you simply use vegetable broth to boil, and then it’s topped, so to speak – hearty, of course. Here at the start: spinach, dried tomatoes and pine nuts. Mmm...so nice! By the way, all ingredients are vegan and therefore fit perfectly into your Veganuary.

Hearty spinach porridge with tomato


½ onion
olive oil
300 ml vegetable broth
100g 3Bears Porridge A hearty classic
100g dried tomatoes
100g fresh spinach
10g pine nuts
Salt and pepper


  1. Peel the onion and cut it into cubes. Also cut the dried tomatoes into small pieces.
  2. Now heat some olive oil in a small pot and sauté the onion with the tomato pieces. Deglaze with vegetable broth.
  3. Then stir in our hearty classic and continue to simmer until the porridge has a creamy consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Wash the spinach and add it, let it cook briefly at a low temperature. Sprinkle with toasted pine nuts.
