With these fruity energy balls you are guaranteed to score points on Mother's Day and Father's Day! Instead of giving away sugary sweets, this year there are healthy energy balls for mom and dad. Tasty and still healthy is possible after all. The recipe is from our porridge recipe book and is prepared with our fruity coconut porridge . So why not give everything away together? Ingredients

100g dried dates
120 g 3Bears Porridge Fruity Coconut
Some orange zest
50 g ground almonds
25g chia seeds
2 tbsp coconut milk
120 g nut butter (e.g. peanut butter or almond butter)
For decoration: coconut flakes, sesame or baking cocoa

preparation

Soak the dates in hot water for about 10-15 minutes, drain and then puree.

Lightly grind the porridge mixture with a blender or hand blender and mix with the orange zest, ground almonds and chia seeds.

Warm the nut butter a little and mix it with the pureed dates and coconut milk. Now mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and knead into a dough. Small energy balls can now be formed from this. Tip : If it gets too sticky, wet your hands occasionally.

You can now roll the energy balls in coconut flakes, sesame seeds or even cocoa. Stored in a cool place, the Energy Balls last for approx. 1 week.
