Köstliche Dattel Kakao Bars

Dates not only taste really good, but are a real super fruit during pregnancy. You may have heard this from your midwife. Studies show that dates can, among other things, promote a shortened birth. They are also full of fiber and other valuable nutrients. These delicious date cocoa bars have it all. Because linseeds and pumpkin seeds are an optimal source of iron. Almonds are rich in calcium, which is especially important from the third trimester onwards. This makes these date cocoa bars the ideal snack for in between meals. They are also guaranteed to satisfy all your sweet cravings. Feast and do something good for yourself? It's really easy with this recipe.

Ingredients

100g 3Bears Fine Cocoa
7 dates pickled in hot water (pitted)
3-5 tsp date water
20g flax seeds
30g pumpkin seeds
100g dates marinated in hot water (pitted)
3 tsp oat milk
30 g almond butter
40g dark chocolate (vegan and sugar-free)
30g almond butter
Flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, chopped nuts as toppings

preparation

First, soak the dates in hot water for at least 30 minutes. Grind the 3Bears Fine Cocoa Porridge, the 7 dates with 3 teaspoons of water, the linseeds and pumpkin seeds in a blender and place in a loaf pan lined with baking paper. Press firmly with a spatula or your fingers and place in the freezer for about 10 minutes.

Then mix 100g of dates, 3 teaspoons of oat milk and 30g of almond butter and add it over the top and put it back in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Then melt the chocolate in a water bath, mix it with the remaining almond butter and add it to the two layers.

Sprinkle flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds and chopped nuts on top as desired. Let the chocolate set (approx. 30 minutes) and cut into the desired bar size.
