It's finally here again - berry season! Sour-sweet berries harmonize wonderfully with the natural oat aroma of our hearty classic . They are also a real energy booster in the morning - and perfect for a wholesome breakfast without added sugar.

Berries contain valuable vitamins and minerals, such as iron. With this strong topping you'll start a warm summer day just right!


5 minutes | 1 bowl of porridge

  1. Put the berries in a bag the day before and put them in the freezer overnight.
  2. Cook the porridge according to the basic recipe . Special feature: Roast the oat flakes briefly in coconut oil beforehand and then pour in the milk. Mix the oat flakes with the milk in a saucepan and let the porridge simmer on the stove over medium heat for about 3 minutes. In the meantime, you can take the berries out of the freezer so that they thaw slightly.
  3. Remove the porridge from the heat and set it aside for a few minutes. The mixture may still be a little runny, as the porridge will soak up as it cools down.
  4. Now it's time to top it! Pour the warm porridge into a bowl and distribute the berries, peanuts and pumpkin seeds on top. If you like, you can also add agave syrup or honey on top. And your hearty breakfast is ready!
