Vegan banana nut protein bars for athletes

Vegane Banane-Nuss-Proteinriegel für Sportler

Spring is already in full swing and summer won't be long in coming either. We get fit with lots of exercise in the fresh air and a good portion of plant-based proteins. Whether before or after training, with these power bars you are guaranteed to overcome every hurdle!

Ingredients | 8 bars

preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Line a 15x15 cm baking pan with baking paper.
  3. Mash the banana with a fork.
  4. Mix all ingredients (except the chocolate and coconut oil) in a bowl.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly, about 1.5 cm high, in the baking pan and smooth everything out with a spoon.
  6. Bake the bars for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let the dough cool and after about 30 minutes, cut it into eight equal bars with a sharp knife.
  8. Heat the chocolate and coconut oil in a water bath until both have melted. Drizzle the bars with it.
  9. Place the bars in the refrigerator for about an hour so that the chocolate can set.
