The vegan vegetable oat balls are an absolute hit and are also full of valuable nutrients. The recipe is prepared with our hearty classic, chickpeas, broccoli and cauliflower. Fresh herbs, chilli and spices give the healthy vegetable balls an incomparable taste and a little kick of heat. So it doesn't get too spicy, you can serve the vegan vegetable balls with some (vegan) yogurt for dipping. The perfect finger food.
Ingredients
140g 3Bears Crunchy classic350g jarred chickpeas
1 stalk of broccoli
1 stalk of cauliflower
½ onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 cm ginger
1 chili pepper
1 teaspoon garam masala
Fresh coriander
Salt
Water
1 tsp olive oil
(Soy) yogurt for dipping
Preparation
Puree the chickpeas in a blender. Break the broccoli and cauliflower into small pieces and chop them in a blender.
Now peel the onion and garlic and cut them into small cubes. Peel the ginger and cut it into fine cubes. Chop the chilli pepper and fresh coriander into small pieces.
Now, mix 3Bears Kerniger Classic with the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add a little water in portions until a solid mass forms.
Form small balls out of the mixture and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Spray or brush with a little olive oil and then bake for a total of 20 minutes at 200 degrees top heat. After 10 minutes, turn the balls so that they brown evenly on all sides.
Serve the balls warm with some yogurt for dipping.
