Spring is already in full swing and summer won't be long in coming either. We get fit with lots of exercise in the fresh air and a good portion of plant-based proteins. Whether before or after training, with these power bars you are guaranteed to overcome every hurdle!
Ingredients | 8 bars
- 100g 3Bears Porridge Poppy Banana
- 50g 3Bears Porridge Fruity Coconut
- 2 tbsp flax seeds (crushed)
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 50g walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1 banana
- 100g applesauce (unsweetened)
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
- 20g dark chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Line a 15x15 cm baking pan with baking paper.
- Mash the banana with a fork.
- Mix all ingredients (except the chocolate and coconut oil) in a bowl.
- Spread the mixture evenly, about 1.5 cm high, in the baking pan and smooth everything out with a spoon.
- Bake the bars for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the dough cool and after about 30 minutes, cut it into eight equal bars with a sharp knife.
- Heat the chocolate and coconut oil in a water bath until both have melted. Drizzle the bars with it.
- Place the bars in the refrigerator for about an hour so that the chocolate can set.
