Valentine's Day is coming soon and we're looking forward to using this day as an opportunity to simply invite our dearest friend to breakfast, to make our partner happy or even to make grandma, grandpa, parents or siblings happy!
Since pink and red is our dear guest blogger Bika's favourite colour combination, the day is also a top priority for her in terms of decoration. That's why she would like to give you a few decoration tips for Valentine's Day. More specifically, how you can prepare your loved ones a nice breakfast in bed. So as I said, the colours pink and red are the most important. Those and a few hearts and then you actually have it. Valentine's Day porridge - made easy.
Of course, she first made the overnight oats with the 3Bears porridge variety Dreierlei Berry in a matching colour because it turns out so beautifully pink. She likes to stir in a little yoghurt. You can try to stir the pink of the overnight oats and the white of the yoghurt together in a nice pattern and then decorate with all sorts of toppings - a heart can be made from blueberries or pomegranate seeds or nuts. You could also use a stencil and a little acai powder or something similar to sprinkle one or more hearts onto the bowl. And she recommends small sugar hearts to decorate the tray. They always look super cute and are edible too. Now for the quick guide!
