For the overnight oats chocolate layer, our nutty cocoa porridge is mixed with almond milk and banana. So you can sin without a care in the world. Juicy cherries and almond yoghurt round the whole thing off. With cocoa nibs, cocoa powder and almond flakes as a topping, you can turn your Black Forest cherry overnight oats into nutritious soul food. Yum!
Ingredients
For 2 servings:
100 g Wild Bowls Nutty Cocoa Porridge
200 ml almond milk
1 banana
160 g cherries from a jar (without sugar) or fresh cherries
200 g vegan almond yoghurt
decoration
Cacao nibs
Cocoa powder
4 tbsp almond flakes
Preparation
Mash the banana. Mix 3Bears Nutty Cocoa with almond milk and mashed banana and let it soak in a preserving jar overnight for at least 6 hours.
The next morning, briefly roast the almond flakes in the pan. Drain the cherries from the jar or pit the fresh cherries.
Now it's time to layer. First divide half of the overnight oats between two glasses. Then add ¼ of the cherries on top of each. Now add a layer of almond yoghurt. The whole thing is repeated with overnight oats, cherries and finally almond yoghurt again.
Top with cocoa nibs, cocoa powder and toasted flaked almonds.
